How to write anniversary messages for your parents
Writing to both parents at once is about them as a couple, not just as your mom and dad. Mention what their marriage taught you, a family tradition they built together, or how they still make each other laugh. Use both of their names, or "Mom and Dad", so neither feels like an afterthought. If you have siblings, ask them to sign too. A card from all the kids is the one they'll frame.
Anniversary messages are love letters in miniature. The strongest ones look back at something you've shared and forward to something you're excited about. You don't need poetry; you need details. The trip where everything went wrong, the song from your first dance, the way they make your coffee: these are the lines your partner will remember.
Try to mention something from this past year, not just how you met. It shows you're still noticing each other, which is what long-term love really is. If you've been through a hard year, say so gently. "We made it through this year together" can be the most romantic line of all.
